Message from the Principal as of 4/29/20
I hope that you have all been in good health and staying safe during these past several weeks apart. Your well-being is always our top priority.
In our ongoing efforts to maintain instructional continuity, the teachers have created a schedule of remote/distance learning detailing use of Zoom and other online platforms. This schedule can be found on our school website, as well as Schoology. Additionally, we encourage you to continue to communicate with the instructors through Schoology for questions or concerns.
I want to remind you that while we may not be on campus, we are definitely not on vacation. Please take the time to remind the students that their regular and PUNCTUAL attendance for online classes is expected. Going forward, teachers will be keeping track of those students’ attendance. I will be addressing individually those students who are regularly tardy or do not attend classes. Of course, we can understand the occasional extenuating circumstances, and we are happy to work with you when we are made aware of your needs.
Please email Mr. Ryan if you have any technology needs and he will be sure to take care of you right away. If there are any new updates to share, I will be emailing you with that information as it arises.
Mrs. Huff and I miss each one of you and look forward to the day we can all be together again. I would really like to thank my staff and community for rallying together during these unusual times. Parents – we cannot do this without you. Please now more than ever – together we are stronger!!
Wishing you good health until we speak again
Principal, The Science Academy STEM Magnet
