All parents are invited to the 11th Annual GATE/ SAS Parent Conference. Parents will have the opportunity to hear a keynote address and attend workshops on a variety of topics specific to gifted/talented learners such as:
‣ District programs for gifted/talented students
‣ Supporting the social-emotional needs of gifted students
‣ Preparing for college
‣ How to support underachieving gifted students
‣ Understanding twice exceptional (2e) students
‣ Parenting strategies for raising gifted learners
Registration begins at 7:30AM, with the conference starting at 8:15AM.
