So you want to start a club…
Joining a club is a fun and easy way to get involved in campus life, as well as explore new and favorite interests. But if you don’t see a club that aligns with your particular interest, how about starting one?
Clubs must be student-run organizations whose purpose is to promote a particular idea or activity that directly benefits the school student body and/ or club members in some way. Here are the 5 easy steps to starting a new club on campus:
- Recruit at least 10 other students as charter members of your club
- Review and complete the Club Charter Application
- Create your club Constitution and Bylaws
- Find a faculty advisor for your Club
- Submit your Charter Application for approval.
*Clubs whose purpose is to engage in potentially dangerous activities that could lead to the injury of their members, such as martial arts, archery, skiing/snowboarding, etc., will not be approved.
