Science Academy parents and family members are invited to attend this STEMtalk with their student during Advisory hour.

Guest speaker Kenny Derieg, aka Compost Kenny, will talk about the wonderful world of compost, covering what goes into making it, why it’s important to compost, and the benefits we can derive from it. 

Kenny is the Waste Reduction Education Specialist with Tree People, Southern California’s largest environmental movement with the mission to help people to take personal responsibility for their urban environment.
